Romans

During the Gallic wars (58-52 Before Christ) Romans marched under the lead of Julius Caesar and entered our regions. One of his legions was our legioen: Legio VII, a formidable enemy of the local tribes. What we try is to tell the entire story. How did the Legionairs respond on the Celts? How did they planned, executed and how did they succeed to defate the local tribes?

Not only weapons en gear are important to us, also the Roman way of living during these campaigns:making fire, building up barricades, healing the wounds, training and overnight, different crafts... Al these things are even important to have a clear and good view on understanding the live of Legionairs.
